Only one hour from Montreal, Le Distingué is a sublime contemporary chalet with three bedrooms on two floors. It stands out for its large windows and its majestic architecture. The property is located on the banks of the Assomption River in the beautiful Lanaudière region. During your stay, you can admire a magnificent view of the mountains and the lake in addition to taking advantage of all the amenities offered. A relaxing getaway surrounded by nature awaits you! The cottage can comfortably accommodate 9 adults and 2 children. *Two adults can sleep on the sofa bed but will be tighter. It has three bedrooms on the ground floor, including 2 bedrooms with a queen bed each and a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed (double and single). The spacious kitchen with island will allow you to cook delicious meals in good company. For your entertainment, you have access to a satellite television, a bluetooth soundbar to connect your favorite music, WIFI, an indoor fireplace and a foosball table. A peaceful outdoor space has been set up for your comfort. Here you will find a 4-season spa and a relaxing fire place. Parking available on the main street at the top of the slope. Do not drive your car down the slope when the path is icy or snowy, even with a 4x4 or AWD. We will not be responsible for cars that are stuck at the bottom of the hill. If necessary, you will need to use a towing service. To get to the chalet, there is a steep slope that you have to go down on foot. It is not accessible to people with reduced mobility or anyone with physical difficulties or limitations. The internet that is offered to you is a good connection offered by Starlink. Smart TV is available with the ability to connect to platforms like Netflix and YouTube, but cable is not included. Please note that we do not give any guarantee on the operation, cleanliness, or technical support for the BBQ from November to April (there is no maintenance carried out during this period). Please note that we only supply propane between the months of May and October. Please note that during the winter period (November to April), we do not guarantee access to or operation of the outdoor fireplace due to weather conditions that are beyond our control. However, you will have access to a shovel if you ever want to clean the site and use the fireplace. Thank you for your understanding. We provide one bath towel per person. Extra towels as well as spa or beach towels are not provided. Please note that it is a river near the cottage, we strongly suggest that you pay attention to the strength of the current before venturing there. In order to facilitate your trips during the winter season, we suggest that you bring a sled with you to transport your luggage and go down the slope more easily. No guarantee of operation or safety is offered on the boats. Their use is at your own risk. Replacement parts can be hard to get at times. Although we regularly visually inspect the condition of the boats, it is not possible for us to test them by putting them in the water between each rental.

Cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of 10% of the total reservation amount as damages.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of the booking deposit (30% of the total reservation amount) as damages.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of all amounts received so far (100% of the total reservation amount). Only the security deposit for breakage and damage will be refunded to tenants.
