Your accomodation
A vast furnished gallery surrounds the house and extends at the back into two distinct terraces, each with a wood fireplace and barbecue. You will love relaxing there listening to the birds singing and the soft murmur of the breeze in the trees. If you listen carefully, you will also hear the Rivière-du-Loup and its waterfalls, located nearby. The common areas of the house are spacious and full of light, while the large private rooms, soundproofed and equipped with the same comfort as our inn rooms, will offer you a peaceful space to retreat to at any time. Inspired by modern Mauritians, the Rollande and Émile house is inspired by the magnificent farm house built by the owner's great-grandfather, a carpenter by trade. Its interior, decorated in a “slow design” style, highlights the works of local artisans and incorporates wood from the surrounding land. You will admire the paintings, murals and metallic finishes that enhance the furniture, paying tribute to the rich history of Quebec. The curtains, throws and bedspreads, are also made by a local company. You will guess that this childhood home (also located in Saint-Paulin) is the bearer of precious memories. It is through these years of outdoor activities and exploration on the land that today forms the Domaine du Baluchon that a deep love for this magnificent place was born. The reception, the restaurants, the café terrace and the Baluchon bakery are just a few minutes away on foot. The pools, the hot tub and the exercise room are about ten minutes away on foot (take the opportunity to take the boardwalk along the Rivière du Loup) or a few minutes by car, in the SPA Le Baluchon building. The Rollande and Émile House is the perfect place for a group stay, whether with family, friends or colleagues. It can accommodate up to 14 people with its 4 bedrooms and 7 comfortable beds. The house has three bedrooms, each with two beds (a large fixed bed and a large pull-down bed), a private bathroom with shower (the master bedroom is equipped with a shower and a bath), a work desk with ergonomic chair, a storage unit, a storage unit, a storage unit, a Keurig coffee maker, a mini-fridge, air conditioning, a television and a telephone. A perfectly autonomous loft with the appearance of a cube is connected to the house. It includes a large bedroom with kitchenette and a separate intimate fireplace area. The wall adjacent to the bed is entirely glazed and offers a splendid immersive view of the surrounding nature. The spacious and practical common areas are designed for pleasant meals and evenings with several people. Open concept, the large fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, stove and refrigerator, microwave oven, cookware, dishes, two fondue stoves, filter coffee maker) is extended by a dining area with counter and a long table. Next door, the lounge area includes sofas, armchairs, a gas fireplace and a television. You will love to relax in the pretty traditional rocking chairs while taking in the view. The powder room includes a sink, a toilet, washer and dryer. The loft includes a king-size bed, a bathroom with a shower, a Keurig coffee maker, stove, refrigerator, cookware and dishes, a kitchen table for two people, air conditioning, a television, a telephone, a telephone, a boudoir with a desk with work desk, ergonomic chair, armchairs, gas fireplace and panoramic views. The site and activities: - Parking is free throughout the site. - Parking spaces are located near the Rollande and Émile house and are for exclusive use for guests. - Electric charging stations (free) are located in the reception parking lot (P3) and in the parking lot in front of the laundry room (P5), a few minutes' walk from the reception. Renting accommodation at Baluchon Éco-villégiature means having access to its 1000 acres of nature and an exceptional playground for outdoor activities. The territory of Baluchon is crossed by the magnificent Rivière du Loup, littered with waterfalls, and the Trembles Falls. When the water level allows it, it is very pleasant to swim with your feet in the river along the trails (ask at reception). Numerous activities, great and varied, are included with the stay: hiking, canoeing and kayaking, mountain biking, archery, petanque, horseshoe, tennis and volleyball, snowshoeing, ice skating, ice skating, cross-country skiing, tubing. The necessary equipment is loaned to you free of charge. Cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of 10% of the total reservation amount as damages.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of the booking deposit (30% of the total reservation amount) as damages.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of all amounts received so far (100% of the total reservation amount). Only the security deposit for breakage and damage will be refunded to tenants.
