This authentic chalet with wood fireplace and natural stone fireplace is located on Sabot Island, in the heart of Baluchon Éco-villégiature. It is an ideal place to gather and enjoy unforgettable experiences surrounded by nature. Put on walking boots or snowshoes and set off on the blue trail that passes nearby. The course will allow you to discover some of the most beautiful views of the estate!

Your accomodation
Ideal for a family or a small group, the Chalet de la Rivière is both intimate and airy. The vaulted ceiling with a large skylight and the long log balustrade upstairs give it a pleasant rustic charm. The numerous windows let natural light into all rooms. The rustic and warm decor blends different wood textures and finishes in an original way. It is an ancient construction, which was already on the site, whose uniqueness has been preserved. All modern comforts have of course been added, such as a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and heating. It is pleasant to prepare meals in the open concept, fully equipped kitchen while chatting with those who relax in the living room in front of the fireplace. The beautiful decor is enveloping and the furniture is ultra-comfortable. Outside, Chalet de la Rivière has a large lot with a barbecue, a table, chairs and an umbrella. A little further away, a wood fireplace surrounded by chairs invites you to relax while peacefully admiring the starry sky in the evening. A volleyball court is nearby. The chalet's indoor common areas are open plan and include a kitchen, living room, and dining room. Two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom located between the two. A third bedroom is on the ground floor, set back from the dining room and next to a full bathroom. The decor is executed in a “slow design” style. You will love the original pieces of furniture integrating wood from the Baluchon lands, as well as the objects and decorative elements that pay tribute to the rich history of Quebec. The curtains, throws and bedspreads, are made by a local company. The various Baluchon facilities are located a five to ten minute walk away. In the same sector, the reception, the restaurants, the terrace and the bakery are all under the same roof, with the equipment loan being just next door. Another area includes the pools, the hot tub and the exercise room in the Le Baluchon SPA building. The tennis court is very close by. These two sectors are a few minutes away by car or about ten minutes on foot from each other. Take the opportunity to take the boardwalk near the Chalet de la Rivière and which runs along the Rivière-du-Loup and its waterfalls. The Chalet de la Rivière can accommodate 6 people with its 3 closed bedrooms and a total of 3 comfortable beds. Each of the bedrooms includes a large bed, a wardrobe, a storage unit and bedside table and reading lamp. The two bedrooms upstairs have access to a shower room that separates them. A bathroom with an antique bath and a separate shower is located on the ground floor and is shared by all occupants. The friendly and functional common areas are designed for pleasant meals and evenings. The kitchen equipped with everything you need (including stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, microwave oven, microwave oven, cookware, dishes, fondue stove and filter coffee maker) is extended by a counter with a few stools. The dining area with a long table and eight chairs is in the center of the chalet. The adjacent lounge area, equipped with sofas, armchairs, wood fireplace and television, is ideal for relaxing in pleasant company. The site and the activities: - Parking is free throughout the site. - Parking spaces are provided near the cottage and are for exclusive use by guests. - Electric charging stations (free) are located in the reception parking lot (P3) and in the parking lot in front of the laundry room (P5), a few minutes' walk from the reception. Renting accommodation at Baluchon Éco-villégiature means having access to its 1000 acres of nature and an exceptional playground for outdoor activities. The territory is crossed by the magnificent Rivière du Loup, littered with waterfalls, and the Trembles Falls. When the water level allows it, it is very pleasant to swim with your feet in the river along the trails (ask at reception). Numerous activities, great and varied, are included with the stay: hiking, canoeing and kayaking, mountain biking, archery, petanque, horseshoes, tennis and volleyball, snowshoeing, ice skating, ice skating, cross-country skiing, tubing. The necessary equipment is loaned to you free of charge. Also available on the site for a fee: - Access to the thermal experience (hot baths, cold baths, baths, sauna, rest areas) is included with any reservation at the health SPA (massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, body treatments, body treatments, yoga class). - Horseback riding, carriage and sleigh rides, summer and winter - Dog sledding (from December to March) - Biking on snow ('fat bike') - The Eco-Café is open until 9 pm and serves a gourmet lunch from 7 am to 10 am. - Winner of numerous awards and accolades, the dining room serves a gourmet dinner starting at 5:30pm. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking confirmation can be canceled free of charge.

Cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of 10% of the total reservation amount as damages.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of the booking deposit (30% of the total reservation amount) as damages.
4.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of all amounts received so far (100% of the total reservation amount). Only the security deposit for breakage and damage will be refunded to tenants.
