Your accomodationThe impressive dimensions of Le Canotier are accentuated by its vaulted ceiling and its large windows covering the entire facade of the chalet. The interior, spacious and bright, is full of natural light, while the view of the river and the surrounding nature is exceptional.
Outside, Le Canotier has a large terrace with a wood fireplace and Adirondack chairs inviting you to relax. The terrace is extended by a mosquito net veranda equipped with tables, chairs and barbecue, ideal for inviting your guests to meals, games and activities.
The chalet's indoor common areas are grouped together in a spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped loft, including a kitchen, living room, and dining room. The open space upstairs houses a dorm room, a work area, and an adjacent bathroom. A bedroom with private bathroom completes the first floor, while two other rooms with private bathrooms are on the ground floor.
The Boater is decorated in a “slow design” style that is inspired by the ancient canoe races of the region. You will admire the original pieces of furniture incorporating wood from the Baluchon lands, as well as the metallic finishes created by local artisans, paying tribute to the rich history of Quebec. The curtains, throws and bedspreads, are also made by a local company.
A few minutes away by car are the various Baluchon facilities. In the first sector, the reception, the restaurants, the terrace and the bakery are under the same roof, with the equipment loan being just next door. A second sector includes the pools, the hot tub and the exercise room in the Le Baluchon SPA building. The tennis court is nearby. These two sectors are a few minutes away by car or about ten minutes on foot from each other. Take the opportunity to take the boardwalk along the Rivière-du-Loup and its waterfalls.
The Le Canotier chalet can accommodate up to 12 people with its three bedrooms and loft space, for a total of 6 comfortable beds. Each room includes a large or king-size bed, a private bathroom with a shower (the master bedroom is equipped with a shower and bath), a work desk with ergonomic chair, a storage unit and an armchair.
The master bedroom has an adjacent walk-in closet. The two rooms on the ground floor also have an independent outdoor entrance, a Keurig coffee maker, a mini-fridge, a television and a telephone.
The loft includes a dorm area upstairs with two large pull-down beds, armchairs, a storage unit, a closet, and an adjoining bathroom. An additional large pull-down bed is located on the ground floor in the lounge area.
The spacious and functional common areas are designed for pleasant group meals and evenings. The large fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, refrigerator, refrigerator, refrigerator, microwave oven, microwave oven, cookware, dishes, fondue pots, filter coffee maker) is extended by a dining area with counter and a long table. The lounge area, equipped with sofas, armchairs, gas fireplace and television, is ideal for relaxing while taking in the view.
The site and the activities:
- Parking is free throughout the site.
- Parking spaces are located near the Le Canotier chalet and are for exclusive use by guests.
- Electric charging stations (free) are located in the reception parking lot (P3) and in the parking lot in front of the laundry room (P5), a few minutes' walk from the reception.
Renting accommodation at Baluchon Éco-villégiature means having access to its 1000 acres of nature and an exceptional playground for outdoor activities. The territory of Baluchon is crossed by the magnificent Rivière du Loup, littered with waterfalls, and the Trembles Falls. When the water level allows it, it is very pleasant to swim with your feet in the river along the trails (ask at reception).
Numerous activities, great and varied, are included with the stay: hiking, canoeing and kayaking, mountain biking, archery, petanque, horseshoe, tennis and volleyball, snowshoeing, ice skating, ice skating, cross-country skiing, tubing. The necessary equipment is loaned to you free of charge.
Also available on the site for a fee:
- Access to the thermal experience (hot baths, cold baths, baths, sauna, rest areas) is included with any reservation at the health SPA (massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, body treatments, body treatments, yoga class).
