Description

La Cime is an architectural chalet nestled in the forest on a cliff overlooking a clear and peaceful lake. Located 1h15 from Montreal, the chalet offers a complete thermal experience with a dry sauna and a spa with a splendid view of the lake and private access to a beach. Inspired by the tree house with its high-perched living area, La Cime offers an immersion in nature with its full-height windows and open spaces centered around a double-sided wood fireplace. La Cime was designed to invite travelers to contemplate nature and instill relaxation and calm both through its minimalist design and through its comprehensive thermal experience offering including a dry sauna with adjacent rain shower, a 6-seater spa, two suspended cocoon chairs and outdoor relaxation areas. Its open and warm living area with its wood fireplace encourages exchanges; a place where to build relationships and share beautiful moments with family or friends. Comfortably accommodating 10 travelers with its 4 bedrooms (2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 4 single bunk beds), the cottage has 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 living rooms (a living room with a smart TV and a living room with a modular sectional facing the magnificent fireplace), an office space and a children's playroom on the mezzanine. We have high speed Fibe Internet: ideal for working from home. Outside, you can enjoy a pergola with mosquito net housing a table for 10 people with BBQ and a fireplace with 6 Adirondack chairs allowing you to enjoy the cool evenings. You will also have access to two private non-navigable lakes with crystal clear waters located 5 minutes away on foot, including Lake Godon with its sandy beach and its gentle descent perfect for children's swimming. 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards are available for you to explore the lakes. Your accomodation
Explore the backcountry on a mountain bike, cycle through the villages, discover the trails in Ouareau Forest Park with a doggie, refine your swing at the Rawdon Golf Club or Enjoy winter fun skiing in Val Saint-Côme or cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the many parks in the region.

Your availabilities
Coming from Montreal, you can avoid the toll bridge on the 25 via the Papineau bridge and join the 25 via highway 440. You can also take the 40 to the 640 in Lachenaie and then join the 25. At the end of highway 25, turn left (Olymel de Saint-Esprit factory) on highway 125. We recommend the Halte Jardinière right after the Parachute Montreal trail for homemade pies, local products and prepared meals. You will then come across a large Metro grocery store, an SAQ and an animal shop in Sainte-Julienne. Afterwards, you will pass by Rawdon and the Montcalm ski mountain and the Cascade Park and finally the village of Chertsey. Just before the village, you will come across snack bar 125 (open in summer). In the village of Chertsey, you will meet the last gas station before the cottage, a Provigo with a small SAQ, a bakery, a butcher and a family restaurant. You will take the path from the church to the Boulevard du 7ieme Lac for about 20 minutes before reaching the Avenue des Capucins. The path is gravel and a steep slope at the entrance may require a 4x4 in winter if there has been a recent snow shower. The cottage is located 500 meters from the beginning of Avenue des Capucins on your left when the path starts to go down after the crossing with Lac Delisle Road. If you are coming from the east of highway 40, you will take the Berthierville exit to join the 348 and then the 343. You will cross the village of Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez about 20 minutes before arriving at the chalet, where you will find a Metro with an SAQ counter. We recommend the Maison Staner butcher and delicatessen for cheeses, ready meals, meats and desserts.
