9-BEDROOM CHALET FOR 41 PEOPLE WOW we renovated the kitchen and all the bathrooms in April 2024. Although it was never intended as a chapel, this chalet was built to have several aspects and thus complete our charming village. The architect, Jacques White, wanted to evoke a chapel through additions similar to a sacristy, a roof-top, apses and a bell tower. Enough to allow you a brief foray into the history of Quebec villages of yesteryear. This construction project was a logistical challenge. Indeed, a large farm house, in Saint-Gervais-de-Bellechasse, 150 km from our village, was moved to provide a basic structure for our chapel. The work was carried out in 2002. Large groups will be delighted by this cottage and its vast common areas, play and relaxation areas. A huge field stone fireplace is enthroned in the main room. All the walls and windows in this same room are over a century old and are original.
